I have yet to play the Russian missions yet so I won't comment on them but thus far this game is worth the 26 bucks for admission. Missions in Iron Front are huge battles that include heavy Armour and planes, I'm only on the 3rd German mission and I'm already trapped behind enemy lines because of the Russian advance. The missions them selves are even more difficult because there on a grander scale, missions in Arma are usually a skirmish between you and some enemy troops in a town and maybe they'll throw in a tank or apc.

Having almost no tech makes this game a true test of skills and you will die allot trying to get use to the old school weapons. This game truly like no game before it shows how far we've come military technology wise.

The game it self is pretty difficult, those of used to Arma and OFP take for granted that we can just keep pulling the trigger when we miss a far away shot in this you really only get one shot then have to wait to chamber a new round and in that time you could be dead.
IRON FRONT LIBERATION 1944 GAME HOW TO
One thing I found rather strange tho is that when the Germans saluted each other they did and American salute rather then the famous seek hile "not sure how to spell it" but I assume putting in the animation might of presented some problems idk I'm not a programmer. It looks like your charging with a bayonet even tho there is no melee combat in this game. There uniforms look spot on with detail and so do the vehicles, they even changed the running animation for when you have your weapon out. Even the English voice overs with German accents is decent "for a Arma game any way", its not like where playing this game for the great voice acting. I loaded up the German campaign in German to see how it sounds and it was pretty good, Granted I don't speak German but I spent some time there While I was in the service and it sounds authentic. The story mode has two campaigns, a Russian and a German which can be played in either The native tong of the characters or in English. I wish it would of shipped with more single missions, right now theirs only three, one of them is a showcase so there's no combat so there's only two really and there all from the German point of view. And some of the animations look weird like when you fire your bolt action while standing then hit the dirt to chamber a new round, or when you reload while crawling but other then that its solid. It crashes for no reason some times and when you first load it up the textures and what not take some time to load.
